I met Dr Martinez about 6 years ago when I had an emergency with one of my front tooth. He was willing to take me right away and take care of the problem. I am back to get implants and I am very pleased and thankful. Dr Martinez is very knowledgeable and care for his patients. Also met Dr Johnson who has been very supportive. The office staff is very professional and at the same time friendly I consider myself very lucky to be getting my dental needs serviced at this office.

My experience is very positive thoughts about the procedure of having dental implants. I felt comfortable in this office. I liked Dr. Martinez and his assistant; no anxiety like I usually feel when facing major dental procedures (which I have had in the past.) Dr. Martinez is very kind to his patients.

After meeting Dr. Martinez for consultation to extract 1 tooth and perform 2 dental implants, I felt very comfortable moving forward with him and his amazing staff. The procedure was scheduled and is now completed (extraction and placement of 2 implants). During the procedure Dr Martinez and assistants made sure I was comfortable and answered any questions I had. There was no pain at all and only took about an hour and 40 minutes. Today is the day after surgery and still no pain or discomfort at all. They have scheduled follow ups to make sure healing goes well and scheduled the the date of completion whereas the final abutments and crowns will be placed. Meet The Doctor

Dr. Mauricio Martinez

Dr. Mauricio is a University of Florida College of Dentistry graduate with 23 years of experience providing comprehensive dental care. His primary focus is restorative and preventive dentistry, with extensive experience in dental implants since 2003. He has earned Fellowship status with the American Academy of Implant Dentistry and is a member of the World Clinical Laser & Imaging (WCLI) Institute. Committed to lifelong learning, he completes 50–75 hours of continuing education annually in implant dentistry, orthodontics, and occlusion.

Born in Colombia, Dr. Mauricio moved to the U.S. in 1982 and grew up in Hollywood, Florida. He holds a bachelor’s degree in microbiology, a master’s degree in nutritional science, and a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree.

Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four sons, coaching youth soccer, and road cycling.
